the Lake Tahoe Basin.  The
Flume trail is 6 miles from our
shop, and the Tahoe Rim Trail
is 2 miles.  Numerous
connecting trails are accessed
right from our shop.  Stop by
for maps, trail advice and
rental equipment. Our
knowledgeable staff will help
you enjoy the fantastic back
country of the Lake Tahoe
Basin.  We also carry all those
necessary bike accessories;
helmets,tubes, tires, pumps,
pedals, seats and more.  Hey,
beach cruisers!  Come ride our
beach cruisers from our new
location right on the beach in
Kings Beach.  Ride through
town to your favorite
restaurant, beach or picnic
site.  Play basketball or
volleyball in the adjacent Kings
Beach State Park.  Ride 2
miles by bike to the Tahoe
Regional Park to play tennis,
soccer, racketball, baseball,
etc. Not to mention a fantastic
cross country dirt trail system
designated for hiking and
mountain biking. Or ride the
existing paved trail through the
park soon to connect to the
existing paved bike trails in
Tahoe City extending to
Surgar Pine State Park and
Squaw Valley/Truckee. This is
soon to be one of the largest
networks of paved trails in
California and the largest trail
system in the Lake Tahoe,
Truckee and Reno area.

The spectacular view from the "roller coaster" single track overlooking  
beautiful  Agate Bay.  Ride from either one of our shops to the Brockway
Fire Lookout historic site complete with nature trail and observatory.   
Mountain bike out of Kings Beach through aspen groves, meadows and
knolls and summit at five lakes lookout to enjoy the view of yes.... five lakes.
 Enjoy the sunset and then ride a series of excellent single track descents
back to the beach. Most of these trails are for intermediate to advanced
riders.

For a really exciting ride, try a mountain bike ride on the snow.  Local
forest service trails and roads become packed down by groomers,
snowmobiles and other users.  Snow biking is for advanced riders.
