North Shore Lake Tahoe Kayak Tours

North Shore Lake Tahoe Guided Kayak Tours

Come find out why the North Shore of Lake Tahoe was chosen for the home of Tahoe Eco-Sports. From our store in Kings Beach, Tahoe Eco-Sports has a strong desire to share our love of the North Shore with you. We are sure after touring this section of Lake Tahoe you will agree this is a great place to call home.

Crystal Bay Tour (Summer/Winter)

Come be our guest on a winter kayak adventure. Our winter tour begins
from our shop located in Kings Beach, it’s here you will learn the
basic skills needed to kayak, including proper paddling technique,
boat handling and proper use of gear provided. After a brief lesson
the group will paddle along the beautiful rocky shoreline through
crystal clear waters among the many giant boulders, Tahoe’s only hot
springs are hidden here. This part of the Lake is the entrance to
Tahoe’s enormous underwater canyon with depths of 1645 feet. Get out
and swim in your dry suit among the giant boulders or stay warm and
cozy in your kayak while you take in the magnificent mountain scenery
above the lake and the “Swiss cheese” rock formations below.

We will stop for a break next to the giant crystal and enjoy snacks and drinks
on sandy historic Bucks Beach. It’s here where Mark Twain camped among
the tall pines in his first Tahoe campsite! It’s also at this special
place (especially in winter) where you may see the occasional pair of
bald eagles, the lone coyote, black bear or mountain lion! This trip
can be done in the afternoon so we can take in the glorious Tahoe
sunset and or full moon. Come have some winter fun, come be our guest!

3 Hour Tour Price Per Person – Summer $70 – Winter $90 – Four person minimum
