Lake Tahoe Sailing

Tahoe Eco-Sports has been sailing Tahoe for many years. We have carried a variety of sailboats for sale and rent including Wind Rider Tri-Hulls, Hobie Cat Sailboats and the Hobie Tri-Hull kayaks to name a few.

Tahoe Eco-Sports team offers unrestricted sailing opportunities for experienced sailors. Launch right from our shop and we will help you set sail. Then you will soon find out that the afternoon winds and clean fresh water of Lake Tahoe will set you free. Sailing the deep blue water of North Lake Tahoe is by far some of the most scenic sailing to be had anywhere in the world. Bring your friends and family because our Hobie Cats hold up to four people. Or set out in a Hobie Island single person tri-hull sailing kayak. These are great fun on your own or especially if you take two, one for you and one for a friend. Sail for a couple hours or rent for multiple days. We do require that you take a lesson with us if you have little or no experience sailing. We recommend that you reserve sailboats one day in advance for your rental and or lesson.

Tahoe Eco-Sports is also the only Hobie Cat Sailboat Dealer within many miles of Lake Tahoe. We stock some boats (mostly in the spring and summer months) and we can special order a Hobie sailboat for you anytime of year. Have your new Hobie sailboat drop shipped to your residence within ten days of purchase or have the Tahoe Eco-Sports team professionally assemble and deliver your boat. We can deliver sailboats right to your front door or beach. Or choose to simply pick one up at our shop. We will show you how to load and carry these babies so you can discover your next favorite launch spot.
