North Shore Lake Tahoe Stand Up Paddleboard Rentals

Lake Tahoe Paddleboarding

Girl paddleboarding on North Lake TahoeStand Up Paddleboarding is fast becoming one of the most popular sports on Lake Tahoe and with Tahoe’s legendary crystal clear waters it is no wonder. Paddleboards enable you to see down 50-70 feet on a calm day. Tahoe Eco-Sports premiere location makes it possible to see giant boulders, Swiss cheese rock formations below the surface within minutes of paddling out. Carry a mask and snorkel for an even closer look.

Stand up paddling is easy to do, especially in the morning when the winds are calm. Take a quick lesson to build up your confidence level before venturing out. You can go west from our store and paddle for miles along shallow sandy beaches or go east to the deepest, rockiest part of the lake. Like kayaking, paddleboarding is an excellent way to mix site seeing with a great work out. Paddle 0.9 miles to beautiful Bucks Beach, a perfect first time paddling distance with an amazing beach for a lunch break. Check out the giant crystals on the beach that give Crystal Bay its name, also a locals favorite!
